Open Doors

As most of you know, our family has been walking through a long and arduous journey with no end in sight as we continue to fight for Chris’s full recovery after his Gallstone induced Infectious, Hemorrhagic, Necrotizing Pancreatitis (yes, all of those) which was further complicated through his development of ARDS (Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome) and his development of End Stage Renal Disease (or Chronic Kidney Failure).  It’s been over 130 days since Chris was last able to breathe independently or work and will likely be close to a year from now before he’ll be strong enough to return to any type of employment. Only a handful of months before Chris’s hospitalization, I launched my own company, Rooted Leaders, with the hopes of helping equip EVERY woman reach her full potential by discovering the calling God has on her life through the utilization of proven leadership & biblical principles. I was excited to be able to create programs that focused on developing her ‘roots’ so that each woman would lead an impactful and purpose-filled life inspiring others and producing ‘good fruit’ as she grew. While I continue to be deeply passionate about my writing and growing my Rooted Leaders business, I also realize that I need to take additional steps to financially provide for our family now as well as in the months ahead.

After much prayerful consideration, I’ve decided to become a consultant for Rodan+Fields. This company has solid products that I have used myself as well as is structured to allow me to work from both the hospital bedside while I’m with Chris or from home when I’m with Hunter & Ella. I am choosing to trust that God will provide through all of these efforts as I actively walk through this open door and that He will direct my steps to the people I can help along the way. Chris and I both talked and prayed about whether this was the next step for me to take and both felt like God could use this opportunity to help meet our family’s needs while giving me a chance to leverage my passion of leadership development with a potential growing team.

I’m reaching out to you today for a few reasons. One, in order for me to be successful, I need friends and family who are willing to come with me and purchase from the Rodan+Fields product line. Two, I need people who also have a need to increase their own revenue streams and or leadership development and are willing to join my team. Third, I need people who will help me spread the word and encourage others you know to reach out to me for help with their skincare product selection or might be interested in being a part of my leadership team.

I’m hopeful that this is another avenue for me to help equip more women to reach their full potential while planting seeds that God can use to meet our family’s needs.  I am also committed to giving each new team member their choice one of the leadership program topics I’ve written.

I’m hopeful that this will be a tangible value for both of us as we benefit from excellent skincare products and the potential for additional revenue for our families.

I look forward to helping you in any way I can through this role and truly appreciate your support!
